November Update - 1 script finished + CG previews


Hello everyone, I hope your November is going well! I’ll jump right into the update -- I’m excited to say that the script for Captain Haywood’s route is finished! I will probably do a few more rounds of editing as I plug it into Ren’Py, but the core script is done! If you’re curious, the total word count is at about 40000 words. I’m so excited to have his script finished, and I’m really looking forward to diving into Alton and Basil’s routes soon. 

Art-wise, I managed to finish 2 CGs for Haywood’s route. I wish I could post them in full right away because I’m very happy with them, but I of course don’t want to spoil them either! Here are some small preview shots so you all can at least get an idea of how they’re looking 👀:  

 

 

Can any of you guess what’s happening? The two I've included above also have a few different variations in the works, which I hope will help make the scenes feel more dynamic. I've got a 3rd one in production too, though I'm still in the linework phase for it currently. I may be biased, but I think it's a really cute one and can't wait for you guys to be able to see it too. I am not sure how many CGs I will do per route yet. I have to hold myself back from making one for every single scene in the game, haha. I’m planning on there being at least 5, but if I can get them done in a timely manner, I might be able to bump it up a little. We’ll see! 

As always, I really appreciate your patience! I’ve been sticking to my goal of writing at least a little every day and have been having fun designing the CGs. Thanks for tuning into this devlog, I’ll continue to work hard to get this game done!🫡
